John L. Romanko
John has been with Georgian Enterprises Inc. since the beginning and is now managing the Company.
John was Born in Eastern Canada in the 40's and all through school his interest in art was never extinguished. As John was earning his Engineering dgree he created pen & ink drawings, his drafting abilities helped hone his art, and throughout his engineering business career John worked with many different art media, took classes and found his niche, which is Oil Painting. Now that John has retired from his engineering career he has developed a style and technique unique to him. John now travels the Continent demonstrating, and teaching the fast and easy "Recreational Painting" techniques that he has developed from such Master Instructors as Walter Foster, Mona Mills, William Palluth, Bill Alexander, Bob Ross, Walt Burger, Lowell Speers, and many more. In fact John still attends classes and seminars when time permits, " it does not matter how old you are you never stop learning".
John teaches his students how to paint landscapes, seascapes, mountains, waterfalls, barns, covered bridges, and many natural scenes. His classes are small, usually ten students and they leave with a finished painting in just four hours. That's right just four hours. The workshops are six and eight hours with more detailed subjects and specific techniques are developed. |
